- Music catalyst and encourager; and writer about the Black Hills music scene. I have friends who call me grandfather of Black Hills music. The title is a bit more grandiose than the facts support; but like most of life, it's a mixture of fact and fiction.
Once upon a time, I wrote a bunch of novels. I managed to sell one, which makes me an author, though it's a long way from there to a career.
Mostly, I'm an old guy, killing time with my delusion that I'm a singer/songwriter. I am grateful there are people in the Hills kind enough to indulge me.

- Anything live and solo. There's just something inherently gutsy about someone who'll get up and try to entertain without anyone else to take the fall on a bad night.

Thanks for coming down to the Howling Wolf, last night, Tom. Good tunes, my friend. I'm glad you met Jeff and Dylan.
Obviously, I found the network.
Right now, I have to go run down some firewood. If I'm successful, I'll camp at the cabin tonight with a guitar.
