An old new song

I wrote this last year but I finally see that it is more than what I thought at first. Yes there is music to it but I don't have it recorded on anything. I have no title but I would like to think it is a song from the earth itself, crying out to be heard. I am honored to have heard her.

How many times
Must I warn you
How much more
Should I take
My tears will fall
This earth will shake and shake

How many lies
Will you hide
How many smiles
You deride
How many nouns
will you rape?
Yes and how much more do you think we should take?

But will you Rise
Out of this mist?
Will you Rise
Out of your midst?
Will you Rise?
Will you Rise?

As with all of my songs this spoke to me first before having implications to anyone else. But it is a plea to rise above the lies of a world controlled by fear, and to rise above the lies we comfort our personal fear with.
